Date: When is Eurovision 2026?

The Eurovision week will feature three shows: Semi-final 1 on Tuesday, Semi-final 2 on Thursday, and the Grand Final on Saturday:

  • Semi-final 1: 12 May 2026
  • Semi-final 2: 14 May 2026
  • Grand Final: 16 May 2026

All three live shows will start at 21:00 CEST and will be hosted by Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski.

City: Vienna

Capital Vienna will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. This romantic city is rich in culture, shopping, and nightlife. Visit the famous Schönbrunn Palace or the Imperial Palace (Hofburg) and follow in the footsteps of Empress Sissi.

The Austrian capital will host the contest at the Wiener Stadthalle.

Wiener Stadthalle

Wiener Stadthalle is the largest indoor arena in Austria, located right in the heart of Vienna. With a seating capacity of up to 16,000, it is perfectly suited for hosting a large-scale event like the Eurovision Song Contest. The venue has a long history of staging international concerts, sporting events and major television productions. In 2015, it successfully hosted Eurovision.

The arena is centrally located and easily accessible by metro and tram, making it convenient for fans and delegations alike. Wiener Stadthalle also provides facilities for press, delegations and VIP guests, ensuring smooth operations throughout the contest week.

Eurovision Village: Vienna Town Hall Square

Eurovision Village is the official festival area during Eurovision Song Contest 2026, and will be at the Vienna Town Hall Square (Rathausplatz).

The square will be open from Sunday 10 to Sunday 17 May for everybody. Each day from 11:00 to midnight. All events will be free to attend.

In Eurovision Village you can watch live performances by artists, DJs, special events and public viewing of the shows broadcast live from the Wiener Stadthalle.

EuroClub: Prater Dome

EuroClub is the venue for special parties, official after-parties, and performances by the participants. There will also be public screenings of the three live Eurovision shows on 12, 14 and 16 May.

EuroClub 2026 will take place at the Prater Dome from 11 to 16 May. The venue spans three floors and has a capacity of around 2,500 people. The following themed nights have been confirmed:

  • 11 May, 22:00 CET – Opening Night (€20)
  • 12 May, 20:00 CET – Ice Night – White (€20)
  • 13 May, 22:00 CET – Pink Night (€25)
  • 14 May, 20:00 CET – Carnival (€25)
  • 15 May, 22:00 CET – Euro Justice (€25)
  • 16 May, 20:00 CET – Glitter Night (€35)

Tickets can be purchased for individual nights, or you can buy a weekly pass for €120. Tickets are available via euro-club.at
